Three people have been shot and two are feared dead at a rural address on Mt Tiger Rd, Whangarei. Two people are believed to have died and a man is in a stable condition in Whangarei Hospital with moderate injuries. Police and the Armed Offenders Squad were called about 11am and cordoned off the area, about 10km from Whangarei.
