A train caught fire outside of Cairo on Wednesday Feb. 20, 2002, killing over 350 people and injuring scores more. In other news, the government signed an agreement with the Arab Fund for Economic, and Social Development under which Egypt will receive a $56.1 million soft loan for potable water projects in 108 villages.
