UN peacekeping force to stop violence in Israel and Palestine

United Nations general secretary Kofi Annan says an armed peacekeeping force should be deployed in Israel and Palestine. He says anything less might not be enough to stop the cycle of violence that has threatened to tear up US president Bushs roadmap for peace. American monitors are due to arrive in the region on June 14. 60 people have died in the latest explosion of violence.
