UN study estimates 35,000 people contracted HIV in Middle East, North Africa in 2007
With a new assessment showing some 35,000 new cases of HIV and some 25,000 AIDS-related deaths across North Africa and the Middle East in 2007, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) today stressed the importance of national monitoring of the epidemic and its response.Read Full Article ...
