(AHN) IAEA Selects Japanese Ambassador To Serve As Director-General

(AHN) - Japanese Ambassador Yukiya Amano will serve as the next Director-General of the United Nations nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The 35-member IAEA Board of Governors met on Thursday to select a successor to Egypt's Mohamed ElBaradei, who has served since 1997.
