Aberdeen are caught in a Catch-22 situation – the more success Derek McInnes brings to Pittodrie, the more clubs will covet his talents. Former Don Stuart Duff played alongside McInnes at Dundee United, from 2003-06, and even then could see signs he would become a top boss.
