UN raises annual agricultural aid to Africa to $8 billion (2009-07-03 01:03:00)

APA - Lagos (Nigeria) The United Nations says it has increased its annual agricultural aid to Africa from US$2 billion to US$8 billion dollars, according to a statement issued here Thursday by the UN Information Centre in Lagos. The statement said that the gesture was to stave off hunger on the continent by 2015. Read Full Article
