Cortez Community Bank one of two Florida banks shuttered
Cortez Community Bank, of Brooksville, Florida, which began operations in July 2002, was closed on Friday by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, which appointed the FDIC as receiver. Cortez was one of two Florida banks that met their demise on Friday, the other being First National Bank of Central Florida, of Winter Park.Read Full Article ...
